香港著名藝術家，專研西方繪畫、藝術理論及文化研究。前IVE設計課程講師、正形設計學校校長、香港藝術學院及RMIT繪畫系高級講師、香港藝術中心導賞團及文化按摩師課程擔任導師。現任天趣畫廊藝術顧問。

自美國完成藝術學士及碩士課程後，2000年於理工大學獲藝術文化碩士。在本地多所中學及大專院校教授繪畫、藝術史及美學欣賞等，擁有超過三十年豐富的藝術教育經驗。

陳氏活躍於不同藝術、學術活動，除了在信報以筆名七郞撰文外，多次擔任藝術活動演講嘉賓，包括香港文化博物館 2012年「畢加索 ─ 巴黎國立畢加索藝術館珍品展」、2016 年「他鄉情韻—克勞德莫奈作品展」、「印象活現．光影大師」系列講座及 2013 年香港藝術館「安迪華荷：十五分鐘的永恒」巡迴展，以及在三聯藝術講座【開方講堂】作一系列主講嘉賓等。

作品曾入選香港雙年展、夏利豪基金會展及被香港藝術館收藏，亦曾於新藝潮展及香港藝術館「香港經驗‧香港實驗」、天趣畫廊「後無名一族」展出，2022年四月將在天趣畫廊「象外之外－陳偉邦爵式山水個展」展出。

Renowned Hong Kong artist, specializing in Western painting, art theory and cultural studies. Former Lecturer of Design Program of IVE, Principal of Hong Kong Chingying Institute of Visual Arts, Senior Lecturer of Painting Department of Hong Kong Arts School and RMIT University, and mentor of Cultural Masseur Program and guided tour of Hong Kong Arts Centre. Currently serves as art consultant of Art of Nature.

After obtaining the Bachelor and Master of Arts in the United States, he further received a Master of Arts and Culture from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2000. Chan has profound and rich experience teaching painting, art history and aesthetic appreciation in many local secondary schools, colleges and universities for more than 30 years.

Chen is active in various arts and academic activities. He wrote articles for Hong Kong Economic Journal under the name Chat Long. He also served as a guest speaker for several art events, including "PICASSO – Masterpieces from Musée National Picasso, Paris" in 2012, and "Claude Monet: The Spirit of Place" in 2016, "Energising Impressionism – Master of Light and Shadow" Talk Series in Hong Kong Heritage Museum, "Andy Warhol: 15 Minutes of Eternity" in Hong Kong Museum of Art in 2013, and "Open Quote Course Series" organized by Joint Publishing, etc.

His works have been selected for the Hong Kong Biennale, Philippe Charriol Foundation Exhibition and collected by Hong Kong Museum of Art. He has participated in the Art Next Exhibition and "Hong Kong Experience‧Hong Kong Experiment" in Hong Kong Museum of Art, and "Post Nagist" in Art of Nature Contemporary Gallery. In April 2022, his solo exhibition "Clement Chan: Jazz Improvisation through Abstract Shanshui" will be held in Art of Nature Contemporary Gallery.
